Terms for a clear launch.

Effective July 26, 2026 · Read these terms before saving a file or ordering a service.

1. Seller and agreement

Starway To Haven is operated and sold by Ryan Stephens. “Starway To Haven” is the public service name and is not represented here as a separately registered assumed name. “We,” “us,” and “the service” refer to Ryan Stephens operating Starway To Haven. Business, support, refund, privacy, and legal-notice inquiries may be sent to ryanking@ryanliketheking.com.

2. Free browser check

The free check reads a limited sample in your browser and reports only the listed signals. It is not EPUBCheck, a full PDF geometry or font inspection, an accessibility audit, editorial review, legal review, or certification of distributor acceptance.

3. Paid service scope

Quick Repair covers one supported file and common, reproducible formatting defects included in the accepted order. Release Ready provides a broader technical review of one supported file. Print + Ebook covers up to two corresponding files for one title. Pricing, maximum file count, exclusions, estimated turnaround, and revision allowance are displayed on the pricing and order pages. Editorial rewriting, cover design, indexing, legal review, accessibility certification, and guaranteed distributor acceptance are excluded unless expressly added in writing.

4. Your files and rights

You retain ownership of submitted material. You represent that you are authorized to submit it and grant us a limited license to validate, store, inspect, repair, and return it solely to provide the requested service. Do not submit malware, unlawful content, infringing material, credentials, or content you are not authorized to process.

5. Intake and security checks

A saved file must pass server-side checks for size, file signature, archive limits, unsafe paths, executable content, active PDF content, and basic package structure. Passing intake does not establish publishing readiness. We may reject or quarantine unsafe or malformed files and may require a replacement source file before work starts.

6. Orders, payment, and fulfillment

An order is created only after you select a service and attach account-owned source files. The operator reviews and approves the requested repair scope before payment becomes available. Payment is accepted only through an enabled checkout provider and is credited only after server verification or a signed provider event. A provider confirmation alone does not change an order unless our server verifies it. Turnaround begins after verified payment and complete, usable intake—not merely after a checkout is opened.

7. Revisions and delivery

One correction round for defects within the purchased scope is included when requested within seven calendar days after delivery. New source files, changed design direction, editorial changes, or distributor requirements introduced after delivery may require a new order. Delivery files remain available in the private account workspace for fourteen days unless a different date is shown there.

8. Cancellations and refunds

You may request cancellation through the private support portal before work begins. A verified duplicate charge or a paid order we cannot perform is eligible for a full refund. After work begins, refunds are limited to unperformed scope, except where law requires otherwise. Completed and delivered work is not refundable solely because a distributor later changes or applies a requirement outside the purchased scope.

9. Subscriptions

Publisher includes two monthly credits with a four-credit rollover cap. Agency includes six monthly credits with a twelve-credit rollover cap. Quick Repair uses one credit, Release Ready uses two, and Print + Ebook uses four. Credits are account-bound, non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be used after cancellation except where a plan disclosure expressly states otherwise. Refunded or reversed subscription payments revoke the corresponding credits; an account may be placed on hold if those credits were already spent. No subscription benefit is activated from an unverified client-side event.

10. No guarantee

We do not guarantee distributor acceptance, accessibility compliance, sales, discoverability, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with future platform rules. You remain responsible for reviewing final files and retaining your originals.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for an affected paid order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing here excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Support and notices

Signed-in customers can use the private support portal. Do not place manuscript content in a public message. Material service or policy changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Email notices may be sent to ryanking@ryanliketheking.com.
